Reserve a Room (by room)

This conference room is perfect for smaller meetings and groups.  There is one table with 8 chairs.  A credenza is also in the room for snacks and supplies.  

The library offers audio-visual equipment and dry erase magnetic boards for use. The library will provide basic cleaning service as part of the normal maintenance. Any additional cleaning or repair required beyond normal library maintenance will be billed at an hourly rate. The cost of any materials required for any repair will be billed to the responsible party. Excessive amounts of garbage (beyond the capacity of trash receptacles provided in the rooms) must be removed by the room user to outside trash receptacles. 

The library will allow light snacks and covered non-alcoholic beverages in the meeting rooms.  Full meals are welcomed in the designated eating area in the foyer of the library.

Groups using the library meeting rooms should be aware that any additional clean up or stain removal that is required will be subject to charges if necessary.

The purpose of the MUTPL’s makerspace is to support and foster creative learning in a library setting. The makerspace supports the library’s mission to enrich the community by connecting people to diverse experiences and resources. Patrons can access technology that enables them to design, explore, and create. 

All use of the makerspace facility, equipment, and resources are subject to the library’s general policies. Tools and equipment in the makerspace are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge to use the tools. Makers will need to bring their own materials for the cricut and sewing machine. The makerspace has 3 tables and 14 stools available for seating.

Reservation of the space is contingent on room usage. Individuals or groups seeking to reserve space must be involved in a project related to making and/or artistic pursuits. Patrons aged 13 and under may use the makerspace if supervised by parent or guardian at all times. The maker space may be reserved in two-hour blocks of time, once a day for use. An additional 2 hours can be requested if availability allows.

The Art and Sherry Morgan Program Room is a meeting and event space used for accommodating larger audiences. The space can accommodate a maximum of 70 people with a minimum of 20 to reserve for use. The program room provides 24 tables and a quantity of chairs, and can seat 48 people or 70 people with chairs only. There is a video center with a projector, screen, DVD and HDMI hook ups.  There is also a podium that is available for use.

There is a small kitchenette separate from the program room and can be requested for use. It can be used as a convenient space for the preparation of  refreshments but does not provide cooking services. The only appliances for use will be the coffee maker and microwave. Any items needing to be kept cold can be placed in the refrigerator the day of the event. Items stored in the cabinets and refrigerator are for library programming and not available for patrons use.  

Any personal, individual, and businesses using the Art and Sherry Morgan Program Room will be charged $75.00 for use of the room. Nonprofit organizations will not be charged for using the program room.
