Are you ready for an unforgettable journey where tweens can explore the gripping tales of survival from history's most harrowing events. Join us for an exciting introduction to the "I Survived" Book Series. We will dive a little deeper by integrating supporting nonfiction materials and information, along with STEAM-based activities with the "I Survived" series.

The "I Survived" book series is a captivating collection of historical fiction novels for young readers, written by Lauren Tarshis. Each book in the series tells the story of a child facing a historical disaster or event, such as the sinking of the Titanic, the attacks on September 11, 2001, or the eruption of Mount St. Helens. These books provide an engaging way for children to learn about significant moments in history while also exploring themes of courage, resilience, and survival.
